Carlisle CPG-01 Review: Carlisle Economy Aluminum Canoe Paddle with T-Grip. Paddles work fine (we bought two), and get you down the river, but leave your hands stained with whatever color they are (on the T-grip) by the end of your trip. Also, where the plastic meets the aluminum on the shaft, the plastic is raised and if you don't get the proper size, your hand will get irritated from rubbing on the raised plastic for the duration of the trip.
